Meet Brent & Katelyn Ramsey

Brent Ramsey is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sips Soda Shop. A graduate of Gardner-Webb University, Brent has had an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age — beginning at just 15 years old, where he was already creating business ideas and opportunities for others.

After college, Brent spent eight years at Mayland Community College, working within the Career Services Department, helping connect individuals to meaningful jobs and career pathways. Following that chapter, he served four years in ministry as a Communications Director for a large local church, combining creativity, leadership, and a heart for people.

During this time, Brent and his father, James Ramsey, began developing the concept of bringing dirty soda to a mobile scale — an idea that would eventually become Sips Soda Shop. What started as a vision quickly turned into reality, and Sips went on to become the first dirty soda concept in the nation to franchise on a mobile platform.

After four years of continued growth and success, Brent stepped away from his role in ministry to pursue Sips full-time, serving as CEO and Co-Founder, leading the brand with purpose, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.

Alongside him is his wife of five years, Kaitlyn Ramsey, an entrepreneur in her own right. Kaitlyn is the owner of Studio K, a thriving salon built on empowering and developing successful stylists. Her leadership, creativity, and business insight bring tremendous value to the Sips family, and you’ll often find her supporting the brand behind the scenes.
