Liver mush Festival - Marion, NC
The Liver Mush Festival celebrates the local favorite food and its heritage in western North Carolina. It is held 5-9 PM in downtown Marion, just 35 miles from Asheville. The historic Main Street is filled with a variety of vendors, a long line for the coveted liver mush sandwich, hog calling, and cheers for the liver mush eating contest. It's one of our Top Summer Festivals & Events. We loved our visit and took these photos.

L&L Furniture Worship Night
Come join us downtown Spruce Pine for our 2nd annual Downtown Worship event on May 3rd, 2023 starting at 5:30 PM! We will have local food trucks, bounce houses, and face painting for the kids, local guest speakers, and local praise bands! 106.9 The Light will also be in attendance again where you get to meet their team! Come fill the streets and experience neighbors loving neighbors worshipping our Lord!
Fire on the Mountain Festival
Celebrate the art of the blacksmith! It's fascinating to watch them craft sculpture, jewelry, furniture and amazing art creations. The festival lines the Locust Street in downtown Spruce Pine (locals call it Lower Street). It includes demonstrations, arts and crafts to buy, food and more. Hours are 10 AM-4 PM, and it's free to attend. This area is home to the highly respected Penland School of Craft with many world-class artists. Come grab a sips and enjoy the festivities.
